Benjamin Mudlack

Benjamin Mudlack is a trained banker and holds a degree in business informatics from Dortmund University of Applied Sciences. He is a board member of the Atlas Initiative, a regular author at the Ludwig von Mises Institute Germany, a member of the Friedrich August von Hayek Society, and actively supports several other liberal projects.
Benjamin Mudlack also runs the YouTube channel “Der ökonomische IQ” with the aim of making the Austrian school of economics accessible to as many people as possible through daily topics and interviews.
Through his entrepreneurial activities, including his work in a medium-sized family business that has been in existence for more than five generations, Benjamin Mudlack gained deep insights into the real world of business. His theoretical knowledge and practical experience with medium-sized businesses have made him an advocate of small, efficient units based on decentralized (“local”) structures, with the associated meaningful emotional and economic liability processes.
Benjamin Mudlack is also the author of the book “Geld-Zeitenwende – vom Enteignungsgeld zurück zum gedeckten Geld”, published by Lichtschlag Verlag. His most recent book, “Neues Geld für eine freie Welt: Warum das Geldsystem kein Herrschaftsinstrument sein darf”, was published in May 2025. In addition to several interviews, he has published numerous articles on the subject of money, the monetary system, and small and medium-sized enterprises, for example in Smart Investor, Tichys Einblick, and Sachwert Magazin.
