His first book, “The International Man”, sold tens of thousands of copies around the world, and was the largest selling book in the history of Rhodesia—a record that will never be broken. His second, “Crisis Investing” was on the New York Times bestseller list for 29 weeks, including 11 weeks at #1. His third book, “Strategic Investing”, reached #7 on the NYT list. He’s currently completing a series of six novels with co-author John Hunt reforming the reputations of politically incorrect occupations. Doug has visited over 155 countries, and lived in ten. He has been active in polo, skydiving, martial arts, scuba, auto racing, competitive shooting, and inducing small backward countries to radically freemarketize. He lives mainly in Punta del Este Uruguay.
